This is a great shaper. It holds you in as it should and smooths the areas that need to be without flattening your butt. I followed the instructions for measuring myself and ordered the 1X. It fits perfectly. The arm holes and straps aren’t my favorite but I can work with them.

Let me start by saying I started wearing shape wear at age 13 yrs old because my grandmother noticed my 138 lbs body size 8 backside moving in my church dress! I was very curvy at a young age and now size 12 dress, 34 inch waist and 49 inch hips (all given by Jesus) never leave the house without shape wear under my dresses/ jumpsuits. This is not my grandmother griddle. It only took 2 minutes to put on and it hold Everything In without feeling pain. I ordered the XL because of my large hips & butt but I could’ve ordered the large. I go up & down in weight so Im keeping. It. For the 15 years I only wore Spanx which is a good product but Shape By An Angel is AWESOME! Im light skin and wish it came in nude. I cannot wear this with white or pastel colors! My complexion is light. This is worth $149.
